In April of this year, I quit my bank job to start my own commercial mortgage brokerage (nearly 20 years and several banks later). Having already had a taste of self-employment as founder and owner of Mindfly (sold in June 2007) and current founder and owner of Whatcom Web, taking the leap from a nice, cushy, salaried job, to the uncertainty of full-time self-employment was difficult, but has never been regretted (at least in in the last 7 months).
I’m not sure how this blog will evolve, but I hope it provides useful and informative information for everyone who visits…but maybe not.
