Business is Good. No Really.
The #1 question I get when I’m out networking, running errands, or just visiting with friends is “How’s the mortgage business Gary?”
With all the news and happenings surrounding the mortgage business, the market is definately challenging. But hey, I left banking and started in this business after the ‘good’ times were already gone. And even though many lenders (both commercial and residential) have left the market, I still have dozens of lenders that are funding deals (2 residential and 1 commercial this month so far). The lenders are definitely more cautious (sometimes verging on paranoid), but good deals (those that will actually be paid back) are still good.
